An extra year resulted in a central location for Toburen Reunion 2023! We are excited to pull the amazing experience from past reunions to create a blessed time for our family to gather! The planning committee is proud to announce that the 2023 Toburen Family Reunion will take place July 26-30, 2023 in Tulsa, OK.

We have rooms blocked in the heart of downtown Tulsa. The hotel has included complimentary self-parking so you will not have worry about street parking or finding a parking garage. We will also have a common room continuously available that looks out on the pool deck. The hotel boasts ample lounge areas when we gather in larger groups. A final bonus that we received from the hotel is no additional charge for quad occupancy in the rooms. We did our best to find a nice location, room for our entire crew, and a reasonable rate that compared to previous reunions!

The hotel hosts multiple room options from standard king to standard double (Queen sized beds) and the options for shower or tub. Standard rooms were arranged at $149/night (before tax). The hotel also offers an Executive Suite at $299/night (before tax) for those seeking more space for your family or gathering together. Trivia Night is back and better than ever! Elgin Park is a great local pizza and wing location with a strong sports theme. Drink options available for all ages. We will have a private room for the competition to grow. Come hungry as the full menu will be available for you to purchase dinner for your crew!

Get your teams ready for a fun night of trivia ranging from family history to current events to the top kids cartoons. Each age will be able to bring an element to your team’s opportunity for the victory. Friday afternoon we will hear about the Green Bay Packers, the days on the farm, battles overcome, golf carts crashed into the pond, family members we may not know much about, reminisce about those we have loved and lost, and hear about many generations of our family.

Due to the heat and varying interests we have not created this as a group event. Weather permitting factors come into play in the early evening.

The ball park offers a playground, splashpad, and many different seating options available. Call the box office for group rates of ticket packages needing 8 and over asking for Jennifer Carthel and mention your connection to Mark Hill for the family reunion. General admission options can be purchased at the gate as well for smaller groups.

AMERICAN SOLERA TAP ROOM

Food

Solera offers a cheese + charcuterie menu for private events (menu attached). Cheese + charcuterie orders must be pre-ordered & pre-paid a minimum of a week in advance. Anything ordered from this menu will count towards your f/b minimum.

Our kitchen concept, Bub's, will be open and working in the open kitchen adjacent to our event. Should your group want Bub's, we may place a catering order one week in advance. Any catering order from Bub's would count towards your food and beverage minimum with Solera.

Be on the lookout for a link requesting order info as our team makes a final decision on the route to pursue or if it will be a mash up of both!

Beverages

Solera has a selection of draft beer, hard seltzer, prosecco on draft, a wine selection, and hard cider as well as n/a options including Coke, Sprite, & La Croix as well as n/a sparkling Riesling, n/a Golden Ale, and n/a Amaro soda. Outside beverages are not permitted.

We will have a private room allowing for a family friendly environment! Games and activities for the kids will be available for everyone to enjoy our final evening together.
